Welcome!

Sisters,

Happy 2019! Where did 2018 go?! I hope your holidays were filled with lots of love and laughter. New Year’s Day is one of my favorite days of the year. It’s a time to put away the old, bring out the new, and a wonderful time of reflection and hope for the year ahead. The Christmas decorations have been put away and I’ve already started organizing and simplifying my home in preparation of spring cleaning.

There’s something so fulfilling to me about organizing, cleaning, and minimizing. With that comes prioritizing intentions for the coming year as well. What is important? Where do I want to spend my time and energy? What brings me joy? I hope you will consider these questions as well and when you answer, I hope AOII fondly comes to your mind.

The beginning of a new year is the perfect time to rededicate yourself to our Fraternity and its ideals. I hope you will consider attending Founders’ Day as well as our many other social and sisterhood events. Meeting and forging friendships with sisters across states and generations is what makes the Indianapolis Alumnae Chapter so special.  Please consider becoming a dues-paying member to help offset operating costs, contribute towards the Ruby Fund, and provide collegiate sisters with scholarship opportunities. Your continued dedication to our organization is what will ensure AOII’s legacy will continue for years to come.

Let your light shine,

Kate Elizabeth Sureck
